The KS5 is the generation that made Kaspa mining sensible again: 20 TH/s from 3000W, or 150 J/TH, against the KS3's 372 J/TH for less than half the hashrate. Same kHeavyHash algorithm, air-cooled, 220V. In practice it is the middle option in Bitmain's Kaspa line. The KS5 Pro adds about 5 percent more hashrate for about 5 percent more power at identical efficiency, so the choice between the two comes down to price per terahash on the day rather than capability. Kaspa's network hashrate has grown quickly since ASICs arrived, which compresses returns over time, and efficiency is what protects you when that happens. Suited to a garage or small facility with a dedicated circuit rather than a spare bedroom.

Perfect for 24/7 operation
Designed my operation around 24/7 uptime and the Antminer KS5 delivers exactly that. No thermal throttling, no random restarts. Just pure, continuous mining performance.
Temperature monitoring from day one
Set up temperature monitoring for my Antminer KS5 on day one. The built-in sensors report accurate readings and I've correlated them with an external thermometer. Accurate within 1-2°F. Gives me confidence the readings are real.
ROI timeline is realistic for containers
Did extensive modeling before buying the Antminer KS5 and the actual ROI is tracking close to our projections. At current BTC prices and our electricity rate of $0.045/kWh, we're looking at roughly 14 months to break even. Not bad for infrastructure at this scale.
Best value in its class
After extensive research, I concluded the Antminer KS5 offers the best value in its class. The specs, price, and MinerHaolan's reputation sealed the deal.
Quiet and efficient operation
The Antminer KS5 operates quietly and efficiently. The noise levels are reasonable for the hash rate, and the power consumption is impressively low. Great for home operations.
