Bitmain's first-generation Kaspa ASIC, rated 9.4 TH/s at 3500W for 372 J/TH. It was a large machine when it arrived in 2023, but the KS5 and KS5 Pro that followed do roughly twice the work for less power, and the KS3's price today reflects that. At 372 J/TH it is only viable on genuinely cheap electricity; at ordinary retail power rates the running cost will outrun what it produces. It uses two fans and air cooling on a 3500W draw, so it moves a lot of heat for its output and wants real airflow around it. Besides Kaspa it can point at other kHeavyHash chains such as Sedra. Treat it as a low-capital way onto the Kaspa network rather than an efficient one.
