AnexMiner built the Dark Star ET7 as a dedicated Ethash and ETCHash ASIC. Since Ethereum moved to proof of stake its remaining job is Ethereum Classic and the smaller Ethash chains such as Expanse and Ubiq. This unit runs 6.5 GH/s from 3300W, which works out to 508 J/GH. That is a lot of power for the output by current standards, so the ET7 only makes sense where electricity is cheap. It is air-cooled with an integrated power supply and expects a 220-240V feed, so plan on a dedicated circuit rather than a household outlet. Onboard memory is 6GB across the ET7 line, which matters because Ethash DAG size keeps growing and undersized memory eventually locks a miner out of a chain. Loud enough that a garage or small facility suits it better than living space.
